ST. PAUL, MINN. The University of Northwestern women's cross country team wrapped up their season on Saturday after competing at the NCAA Central Region Championships. The 2019 season featured consistent performances from sophomores Ava DeShazer, Karee Joedeman and Brandhi Whittemore, while freshman Emma Heino also ran her way into the mix. With a full roster of young talent returning next season, the Eagles will look to build on the leadership of this year's sophomore crew.
