PAUL The University of Northwestern women's cross country team earned 26 points in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) preseason coaches poll, which placed the Eagles fifth in the eight-team league. UNW received one first place vote in the balloting as coaches predicted the order of finish for the league championship race in Hermantown, Minn. on November 1.
